Design lovers, you're about to have a field day at Where Sea Meets Shore. Happening from May 11 to 17, this stylish lifestyle fair brings together a curated homeware collection from over 25 award-winning Asian brands. This is where you can pick up elegant pieces for your home, running the gamut of furniture, bedding, loungewear, fragrances, and art.
Presented by Home Rituals, a pop-up concept co-created by SoL the label and Baea, Where Sea Meets Shore was curated with the beauty of the ocean in mind, translating to sustainable items that inspire calm and tranquility. A great example is SoL the label's latest capsule collection – debuting at the fair, it features items made with upcycling and zero-wastage techniques. Other great retail options to look forward to: Baea's 2023 bedding collection, statement pieces by SUYAB Furniture, plush rugs by heritage Hong Kong brand Tai Ping Carpets, or Asian fragrances and candles by local brand Oyasumi Scents.
Craving to get closer to the designers and their process? Then Where Sea Meets Shore's line-up of talks and workshops is for you. Make your own fine bone chine plate with Hong Kong-based artist Leo Wong, who is well-known for his delicate floral ceramics. You can also watch Chinese artist Chris Chun bring his delicate watercolour artworks to life in a live painting session, or teach your kids the importance of ocean conservation at a workshop with Ayer Ayer.
Entry to Where Sea Meets Shore is free, except for workshops and talks. To secure your slot, visit luxury e-commerce platform Vermillion Lifestyle's website here.
