Time Out says

At the edge of Keong Saik Road, lies a salmon-pink four-storey establishment. That’s none other than the newly-opened Kinn Studios, a boutique hotel focused on providing a comfortable space for mental wellness.

As soon as you set foot into the hotel, you’re greeted with an earthy-pastel interior, and an amazing interior scent unique to Kinn. The lobby also doubles up as a space for local artists to take turns to showcase their works. Currently, you’ll be able to find paintings by Qinyi, featuring cute animals taking their well-needed peaceful rest.

The space is catered to travellers or anyone, really, looking for an affordable space to wind down and relax. This hotel is the second establishment under Kinn, alongside the existing Kinn Capsule – a capsule hotel located at South Bridge.

Kinn Studios is indeed a cosy retreat – featuring a total of 23 rooms with three distinct types. The Cosy Rooms cater to individuals desiring tranquillity away from the hustle, designed to embrace natural light. Ground Rooms offer wheelchair accessibility with convenient entry to the shared dining area and lounge. Meanwhile, the Hideaway Rooms provide a secluded hideout on the highest floor, ideal for those seeking solitude.

Their label as a ‘mental wellness hotel’ is also not just for show. Guests at Kinn Studios are treated to a specially designed Kinn Pocket Serenity wellness booklet, featuring bite-sized words of affirmation and personal journaling prompts. This is in collaboration with the therapists from Safe Space, an online/offline mental health counselling service provider in Singapore. And in celebration of its opening, guests are entitled to a 10% discount on counselling sessions with Safe Space therapists and 100% off with therapists-in-training, until September 30, 2024.
