With the overwhelming number of face masks available these days, it can still be surprisingly hard to find one that suits your style and taste. Pokémon fans are now in luck: Original Stitch, the company known for its popular Pokémon-patterned shirts, has started offering customisable Pokémon-patterned face masks.
The company was initially giving away face masks with every shirt purchase, but they proved so popular you can now buy them on their own. Just like the Original Stitch shirts, which are highly customisable, these face masks aren’t your ordinary off-the-rack purchase.
When you order through the website, you’ll be given a choice of 151 different Pokémon patterns – one for each of the first generation monsters – that come in a range of colours and designs. After choosing the pattern for the front of your mask, you’ll also be able to choose from four different colours (blue, pink, black and white) of breathable mesh fabric to make up the inside of the mask.
The face masks start at ¥1,800 each and are available in two different sizes: small and medium. Currently, sales are limited to Japan only, but since the Pokémon shirts are available worldwide, it’s only a matter of time before these masks start shipping outside Japan, too.
