After all the Christmas and New Year festivities quiet down, the next holiday up on the calendar is Lunar New Year, which starts on February 10 2024. Next year’s zodiac sign is the dragon, and just in case you want to start stocking up on appropriately dragon-themed goods, know that Disney is releasing an exclusive collection of Lunar New Year merchandise at Disney stores in Japan as well as the Disney Japan online shop.

This adorable collection includes Winnie the Pooh Year of the Dragon plushies that come in three sizes: a toy keychain (¥2,600), small (¥2,800) and medium (¥4,800). Along with Pooh, there are also plush versions of Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore, all dressed as dragons.

The dragon motif can also be found on Disney’s popular Tsum Tsum plushies, which are fun to collect and stack together. The Tsum Tsums range from ¥1,300 to ¥2,600 and are available in Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Chip and Dale versions.

If that wasn't enough, there's also a lineup of colourful Mickey Mouse daruma dolls (¥1,100 each) that will be available through an exclusive daruma capsule toy machine set up outside the Disney Flagship Tokyo store from December 26.

You can already shop the Lunar New Year collection online, and certain items are also available at selected stores in Japan, including the Disney flagship in Tokyo. For more information, visit the website.
