In last year’s Time Out Index survey of more than 33,000 urbanites across 48 cities, Tokyo ranked as the best city in Asia and also the most desired city to visit in the world. Shimokitazawa, the hipster-dwelling, vintage-wearing little sister to Shibuya, also ranked number two coolest neighbourhood in the world.
