Halloween festivities may have just started at Tokyo Disney Resort, but the two theme parks in Tokyo have already announced their Christmas offerings, which will happen from November 8 to December 25.

Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will have a 15 metre-tall Christmas tree each, all decked out with colourful ornaments plus Disney Japan’s 40th anniversary logo. The tree at DisneySea in particular, which will appear at the Waterfront Park, is returning after a three-year absence.

Disneyland will run two parades as usual, one in the day and another after dark. The daytime Disney Christmas Stories parade will feature Christmas-themed floats carrying Mickey Mouse and his friends in cosy winter outfits. The evening Electrical Parade Dream Lights, on the other hand, will feature illuminations as well as a special Christmas medley.

Don’t forget to enjoy all the Christmas meals and treats while you’re there. From November 1, you can try an omurice with deep-fried shrimp and tomato cream sauce at Grandma Sara’s Kitchen, gratin bacon cheese hot dog at the Refreshment Corner, and hot apple ginger drink at The Gazebo, just to name a few.
