Easter weekend sees a soccer field in Accra fill with musicians, media crews and scores of festively clad spectators as aspiring paragliders take to the skies. In less than a decade, the Ghana Paragliding Festival has become very popular. It also works closely with the Couldbase Foundation which is an NGO working for children in West Africa.
