It's In The Blood is the result of an eighteen-month collaboration between Tete Adehyemma Dance Theatre (Ghana) and Cactus Junges Theater (Germany).
Actress Gifty Wiafe fills the stage with a unique and mesmerizing blend of humour, dance, music and storytelling. The play looks at the space between cultures and continents as Gifty takes the audience on a roller-coaster of a journey. Issues of migration, culture, identity and corporate greed are touched on.
Plot: Gifty comes from Ghana and is living in Germany. So African dancing is in her blood, isn't it? And living in Germany she must be driving a Mercedes, paa?
