Time Out says

There's nothing perfect, even Venus—the goddess of love and beauty. Thai artist Phannapast "Yoon" Taychamaythakool is inspired by such cynical yet critical concept and comes up with her very own collection entitled "Venus in the Shell".
The exhibition is the artist's interpretation of Venus's story through her unique artistic styles with an aim to convey a positive message regarding imperfection and the fact that even the goddess goes through misery like us human beings.
Venus in the Shell is divided into four sections: Forbidden Flower, Moonlight Dive, Mandragora in the Vase, and The Wanderer. Each room is inspired human conditions like affection, anger, disappointment, jealousy, vibrancy, and darkness.
Come and take a look at the whole new presentation of this Greek goddess for free at River City Bangkok from January 7 to February 28 (11:00-20:00).
