What is it? A nearly century old shophouse on Krung Kasem Road that's been brought back to life as Buddha & Pals, blending pre-war architectural charm with modern living.
Why we love it: The real magic here is how close you get to the musicians. You're not stuck at the back of some massive venue, you're right there watching the pianist's fingers dance across the keys or catching those little glances band members exchange mid set. It's intimate in a way that makes every performance feel personal. Add in some seriously well crafted cocktails and thoughtfully prepared food, and listening to jazz here genuinely feels like stepping back in time to experience old Bangkok's charm. The atmosphere manages to be both nostalgic and immediate, which isn't easy to pull off.
Time Out tip: Fridays and Saturdays get absolutely rammed, so you'll want to book ahead through their official channels.
716 Krung Kasem Rd. Open daily 10am-12am
