Australian-born bistro chain The Coffee Club steps up the game with an all-day breakfast and brunch menu that boasts first-grade produce in a cozy dining vibe.

Started off as a small café in Brisbane over 20 years ago, it’s the Minor Food Group (one of Asia’s big name in the casual-dining industry) who boosts the humble F&B chain into a global brand, now with over 400 outlets dotting the global map. With several outlets tucked in the city’s nicest neighborhoods, The Coffee Club in Bangkok each similarly plays out an urban chic feel defined by wood-heavy furnishing, stylish murals and a giant glass window that allows in plenty of natural light.

Making sure that the kitchens overseas live up to the headquarter standard is The Minor Food’s head of global culinary, James Bradbury (whose CV includes years of working side by side Jamie Oliver). Bradbury manages to pull out the menu for each The Coffee Club that puts together the best taste of Australia to the fore, and spice it up with a bold kick of local twist. The star signature is the simple egg benedict that comes with a choice of ham (B280), bacon (B280) or smoked salmon (B310) and perfectly poached eggs on top of crispy ciabatta bread. The combination is then laden with Hollandaise sauce whipped up in-house using vinegar reduction to bring out extra creamy and tangy note. Other go-to options include the roasted barramundi fillet served with asparagus, baby potato and Hollandaise sauce (B410) and a Caesar salad (B260) that sees poached egg sitting on cos lettuce, sprinkled with croutons and parmesan cheese.

Desserts here are top-notch. Opt for Mocha Assiette (B230) that puts together double chocolate espresso cheesecake, indulgent chocolate espresso brûlée, and dark chocolate ice-cream or The Passion (B230) that sees mango passionfruit tart, coconut panna cotta and mango passionfruit sherbet.
