In remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol, who passed away on 13 October 2016, Thai magazines fill up November newsstands with rare photos and artists’ impressions of His Majesty on their covers. This local etiquette is also joined by the local editions of international magazine titles, such as Elle, Vogue, Nylon, Billboard and Time Out, who worked with top artists to produce special covers or cover wraps (or special supplements) where the logos were relocated from the top to the bottom of the page — an unusual action in the Western hemisphere — to pay respect to the beloved Thai King for one last time. Scroll down to see the covers we love.
