Take a peek inside the home of one of Thailand’s most prominent art collectors

Society knows of Sermkhun Kunawong’s double life—that of a successful event organizer and another as an avid art collector. In 2004, he turned part of his Soi Nuanchan office into Bangkok Sculpture Center, a gallery that invites the public to admire the few art pieces he’d been collecting over the years. Sermkhun is now stepping up the game, welcoming guests into his family home to admire a massive collection of more than 300 masterpieces by some of Thailand’s most respected artists. Priceless art pieces are displayed throughout the house, from rarely seen paintings by Chakrabhand Posayakrit to gilded Thai-style khon masks originally crafted during the reign of King Rama IV. A private balcony displays Khien Yinsiri’s precious sculptures, while Sermkhun’s very own bedroom has art of all kinds filling up the entire space. There are 12 different rooms in total, so spare about half a day if you’d like to see all the pieces up close.

Tickets priced at B400 (adults), B200 (students). Restricted to guests ages 10 years and older.
