Time Out says

The Britain’s Got Talent alumnus is on a world tour to promote his upcoming studio album, 'Bridges'.

Many international acts are descending upon Bangkok as live concerts return to the Thai capital. British singer Calum Scott has been announced as the latest artist to book a show in Bangkok this year, which will also see exciting performances by Justin Bieber, LANY, The Script and Sigur Rós. Scott’s Thailand gig, booked at Moonstar Studio is part of his ongoing Bridges World Tour that will see him traverse the globe and perform many shows in 17 countries.

The 33-year-old rose to fame when he joined popular talent show Britain’s Got Talent back in 2015, especially after his melancholic rendition of Robyn’s classic dance tune “Dancing on My Own” went viral.

Though he only placed sixth in the contest, Scott went on to court success when he released his ballad-heavy debut album Only Human in 2016. The album included his cover of “Dancing on My Own” and other hits like “You Are the Reason” and "Rhythm Inside". On June 17 of this year, Scott is due to drop his sophomore album Bridges.

This latest offering includes “Boys in the Street”, a single about a father who struggles with the acceptance of having a gay son. The song is also a tribute to the LGBTQ+ community, which the singer is openly a part of.

Callum Scott will perform in Bangkok on October 22 at Moonstar Studio. Tickets (priced at B2,200) will be on sale via Ticketmelon from June 15 onwards.
