Formed in 2011, The Internet is an LA-born, five-piece R&B group composed of Syd, Matt Martians, Patrick Paige II, Christopher Smith, and Steve Lacy. The band has received praise from fans and critics for their unique groove-inflected musical style. In 2015, their third album, Ego Death, earned a spot on the Billboard 200 chart and was nominated in the Grammys for Best Urban Contemporary Album.
