Concertgoers, start counting down to the first BAMM! (Bangkok Arts & Music Month), a multi-venue, multi-genre concert series by local organizer Live Event Group, which will feature live performances by international acts. So far, five artists have signed up: hip hop artist Yung Bae, alternative wunderkind Cosmo Pyke, French artist FKJ, Iron & Wine, and Texusborn band Khruangbin. More names will be announced soon. British hitmaker, and one-fourth of currently-on-hiatus boyband One Direction, Harry Styles, who's just released his first namesake solo album, has announced his tour dates for 2018 with a stop in Bangkok on 7 May at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani, with American all-girl indie rock band WARPAINT as the opening act. English alternative rock band, Nothing But Thieves is going to perform in Bangkok as a part of their Broken Machine Tour. The band consists of lead vocalist Conor Mason, guitarist Joe Langridge-Brown, keyboardist Dominic Craik, bassist Philip Blake, and drummer James Price. Their sophomore album Broken Machine was just out last year, and now they are having a world tour in Europe, America, Australia, and Asia. In an occasion of this year International Jazz Day, The Commons brings the annual celebration with 5-hour session of Jazz with Sweets Records. Line up includes young bloods and prominent names from Thai jazz scene and a warm up set by a DJ starting at 2 PM. Main performances start at 6 PM.
Fans' favotire American singer-songwriter, Bruno Mars is coming to Bangkok according to BEC-Tero. Started his career in 2009 as a co-founder of The Smeezingtons who produced B.o.B's "Nothin' on You" and Travie McCoy's "Billionaire," he featured on the singles. Then in 2010, Mars released his debut album Doo-Wops & Hooligans which had "Just the Way You Are" and "Grenade," and he has been one of the most famous American pop singer. Mars topped music charts with his third album "24K Magic" in 2016 with hits like "24K Magic," "That's What I Like" and "Versace on the Floor," and now he is having a world tour. The singer is coming to Bangkok on 30 April and 1 May 2018
