Ken Phupoom is a household name in Thailand. After having conquered the local acting industry, he is now making his way into the electronic music scene. Timothy Supreeleela, a culinary school graduate, is the younger brother of famed actress Esther Supreeleela. Together they are Crossthy, an EDM duo dreaming to take over the world one stage at a time.

How did Crossthy come about?

It actually started out as something they joked about doing. Timothy has been creating beats since he was 16 and Ken is an avid lover of electronic music. They started taking courses to learn on production and beatmaking to help them master the art of EDM.

Why Crossthy?

The name is a combination the word “cross” combined with Timothy’s name.

What is Crossthy’s sound?

They are still figuring and tweaking things around. They plan to incorporate more synth to bring a more eclectic flavor to their music, which fans will get to hear more of in the following months.

What inspires them?

Ken is a big fan of Axwell, Afrojack, and Alesso, traveling to see their live performances whenever he can. Timmy is inspired by Hardwell, who is also the reason he got into EDM in the first place.

What is the most challenging part of being in the EDM scene?

Apart from trying to create a loyal following in a country that doesn't fully understand EDM yet, they are also trying to figure out their signature sound. The duo expends most of their time and energy trying to create music that’s distinctive but will still resonate with a wider audience.

So what is the end goal for Crossthy?

They want to perform at the biggest electronic music festivals all over the world, from Tomorrowland to Ultra Music Festival, alongside their favorite artists. For now, the next step is to get signed by a music label that can help Crossthy get to where they want to be. As long as they can bring happiness to their listeners, the EDM duo will continue to learn and create beats for their fans.
