EDM music fest, 808, returns for its seventh run. This year, Bitec Bangna will be rocking with the percussive sounds of some of the genre’s biggest DJs, including Calvin Harris, Skrillex and ZEDD.

Sip and Mingle at The House on Sathorn; 8 pm

The House on Sathorn, in partnership with Tanqueray, invites you to an exclusive gin-filled night. Thai guest mixologist Kitibordee “Gov" Chortubtim, the winner of Diageo Reserve World Class Thailand 2019, will present his exceptional cocktail creations, while singer Lookkaew performs live jazz music with a band.

German Christmas market at Goethe-Institut Thailand; 4 pm; free entry

The learning institute opens its doors once again to celebrate the season of joy and giving, but with the focus on sustainability this time around. Aside from offering traditional German food and Christmas specialties such as mulled wine, the market will also host live musical performances, film screenings and workshops where kids can learn about upcycling. 

One Woman hybrid show: Wanton Witch at Safe Room; 10 pm; B200

If you like techno and hardcore industrial music, then this night is for you. On 7 Dec, Safe Room’s DJ booth will be helmed by the one and only Miriam Alegria, aka Wanton Witch, a Malaysian-born, Bangkok-based DJ and producer who is widely known for her eclectic track selections. 

Beats by the Pool at W Bangkok; 2 pm; B600/inclusive of 1 drink

W Bangkok is teaming up with Bangkok Invaders for Beats by the Pool, a super-fresh pool party that features the hottest DJs in town, including Bangkok Invaders’ very own DJ Double b and DJ ONO.

Soap Making by Recycle Cooking Oil at The Commons; 10.30 am; B500

Learn how to make liquid soap from recycled cooking oil at a workshop led by Bangkok Soap Opera. Each participant will get to take home a bottle of their handcrafted soap.

181 New Dimensions of Nature Landscapes at River City Bangkok; 10 am; free entry 

Japanese photographer Yoshiki Hase comes up with two photography series titled 181° and Dessin, both of which depict his interest in the soul of nature. In 181°, Hase places geometric objects amidst natural landscapes to explore the contradictions between human desire and nature. Dessin, meanwhile, shows how the artist longs to find inspiration in the natural world.

Vivid at Muzina; 1 pm

Entitled Vivid, this exhibit showcases Japanese graphic artist and illustrator Miho Murakami’s signature style of portraying wild animals in their natural habitat and with human eyes. The result is strangely compelling depictions that reflect an introspective sensitivity.

Mustache Takeover White Edition at Spectrum Lounge & Bar; 5.30 pm; B450

Dress up in white and party at Hyatt Hotel’s brand new rooftop bar, Spectrum, with Mustache and Belvedere. Enjoy a drink and dance the night away while watching Bangkok’s beautiful sunset.
