A Little Taste of Spain at Savelberg Thailand; 12 pm; B5,000

Savelberg Thailand gives you the chance to experience a taste of Spain through a six-course menu created by Michelin-starred chef and founder Henk Savelberg and head chef Cristina Tejeda. Your journey is completed by seven wine pairings from different regions of Spain.

Zaab Nua Premium Beer & Funky Molam at Jim Thompson cafe; 5 pm; B990

Jim Thompson invites all foodies and Isaan cuisine lovers to join their “Zaab Nua Premium Beer & Funky Molam” party. Enjoy northern delicacies such as moo puang (grilled sun-dried pork), paddy frog curry with lemongrass, and northern sausages. There will also be a wide range of beers namely Singha, Corona, and Leo, Kronenbourg, Snowy Weizen, and, Asahi for you to choose from. DJs Maft Sai and Kanehbos will be spinning their tracks to funk up the night.

SNUFF presents Gelassenheit at De Commune; 10 pm

Dance to house and techno tunes spun by Australian duo Gelassenheit, who burst into Sydney’s underground electronic scene only a year ago. The pair shows no sign of slowing down, appearing in respected venues across Sydney and now Asia.

Energy-Boosting Food Workshop at The Commons; 10 am; B1,600

Learn how to cook energy-boosting dishes at a workshop led by certified culinary nutritionist and health coach Cecilia Yu. In the half-day workshop (B1,600/person), Yu shares five energy-balancing recipes, culinary techniques, and several dietary tips. All recipes are gluten-free and dairyfree. 

Amnesia by Tawan Wattuya at 1Projects; 1 pm

Contemporary artist Tawan Wattuya showcases a series of watercolor paintings in his latest solo exhibition titled Amnesia. Tawan’s artwork revolves around controversial socio-political issues, and features portraits of victims who were affected by the suppression of political protests in April and May 2010, in which over a hundred people died.

Room #7 at Culture Cafe; 9 pm

Culture Cafe, Bangkok and Hexer presents Room #7, a gathering of Thailand's most creative minds, some of the best local talents, and underground DJs. With the aim to grow and push the boundaries of the underground music scene, this event welcomes all.

Pink Cloud at Thai Wake Park; 12 pm; tickets start at B1,900

Local indie concert promoter Wildest Youth is introducing the first alternative music festival Pink Cloud Music & Art Festival, which focus on surf punk, reggae, and dream pop music from up and coming artists from around the world. This debut edition will feature more than 10 Thai and international bands, art works and installations and more. The lineup includes Dune Rats (AUS), Hockey Dad (AUS), Turnover (USA), Verge Collection (AUS), Beddy Rays (AUS), Srirajah Rockers (TH), Death Of Heather (TH), and Thud (HK).

Semi-Annual Book Sale at Neilson Hays Library; 12 pm

Neilson Hays Library invites all book lovers to their semi-annual book sale this 25-26 May. Neilson Hays Library is an association renowned for its collection of over 20,000 English language books. The fundraiser offers books in all genres and many languages. Prices start at B20 but a few rare books will be sold at market value. If you have any books you would like to donate to the library to contribute to this fundraiser, please drop them off at the library during work hours Tuesday to Sunday before the sale. Visitors are also encouraged to bring their own bags in order to reduce waste. All proceeds go towards the maintenance of the building and their educational and arts programs.
