EAT by Takanobu Kobayashi at 100 Tonson; 11 am

100 Tonson Gallery proudly presents “EAT”, a 23-year continuing project by Takanobu Kobayashi. The exhibition features a collection of paintings and photographic installations and will be his second show with 100 Tonson Gallery. The world-renowned Japanese painter who is known for his composed and lucid landscape completely flipped the script on us when he moved to Bangkok and started painting low-rent apartment buildings and simple tableware. Throughout his stay in Bangkok, Kobayashi documented his daily eats through photographs and paintings which will all be shown in this collection.

Sense of Place at Leica Gallery Bangkok; 10 am

Sense of Place portrays the world through the eyes of Peerapat ‘Add’ Wimolrungkarat, one of Thailand’s most notable photographers. A personal exploration of the self, the exhibition delves into Peerapat’s identity as a lensman and tries to discover the relation between the internal images within himself and the external world.

EYP Project #4 at BACC; 12 am 

The Bangkok Art and Centre (BACC) presents “EARLY YEARS PROJECT #4: PRAXIS MAKES PERFECT”, an incubating project for young artists. The program aims to promote conversation during workshops and artworks will be selected by the organizing committee upon the completion of the program. The winning contestant will receive mobility funding and residency funding. The artists that are showcasing their work are Decha Diwiset, Jeanne Penjan Lassus, Kornthanat Pipat, Nuttamon Pramsumran, Pannawat Muangmoon, Tewprai Bualoi, Pam Virada, and Worawut Changthong. The judging panel will consist of esteemed creatives; Nut Srisuwan, Pojai Akratankul, and Pongsakorn Yananissorn.
