Geologist Robert McLeod exhibits his extensive collection of more than 20 crystal formations found from all over the world. Gogotte or crystal formations displayed in this exhibition can be traced back to the Ice Age 30,000-50,000 years ago. To witness the beauty of this Mother Nature's creation, come visit the exhibition at River City Bangkok from 29th July.

Apart from browsing through some of your favorite titles, you can also take part in art and crafts workshops, and enjoy a live concert for free. The fair takes place at the fifth floor of Samyan Mitrtown from 10:30 - 21:00.

The former seeks the ontological meaning of ritual offerings to deities and what constitutes their sacredness, while the latter delves into the theme of familial relationship through the artistic portrayal of household items.

ICONCRAFT Thai Textile Heroes at ICONSIAM; Aug 3-30

ICONSIAM's handicraft retail space, ICONCRAFT, celebrates the intricacy and wisdom of Thai craftsmanship throughout August with one of a kind exhibition ICONCRAFT Thai Textile Hero, which features stunning showcases from some of Thailand's most celebrated local textile artists as well as collaborative works between a storied textile community and some of the country's best-known fashion designers. 

The showcase will bring to the fore traditional Thai wisdom through the textile design of local artists such as Meechai Taesujariya from Ban Kham Pun in Ubon Ratchathani and Weeratham Trakul-ngernthai from Baan Chansoma in Surin. Three high-end fashion brandsASAVA, Hook’s by Prapakas, and Wisharawishwill also showcase collaborative masterpieces with Ban Sawai Natural-Dye Weaving Group, fusing contemporary design and traditional artistry. Homegrown couture label Sirivannavari Bangkok by HRH Princess Sirivannavari will also launch the brand's first Thai silk bag collection, available exclusively at the event for a limited number of 35 handbags.
