A bigger, greener Chatuchak Park

Bangkok is combining three existing parks—Chatuchak Park, Queen Sirikit Park, and Vajirabenjathat Park—to create one massive public space. To create the new Chatuchak Park, the roads between the parks were converted into pedestrian walkways and the infamous JJ Green outdoor bazaar was dismantled. The first phase is now accessible.
