Illustrator Juli Baker and Summer, film director Prim Issaree, and singer Pyra have come together in an art exhibition that campaigns for the provision of free sanitary pads.

Entitled Ni-Tas-Sa-Kee, which plays on the Thai word for “exhibition” and the modern-day Thai slang for “vagina”, the exhibition aims to challenge social norms around women and menstruation through a variety of art media. Visitors can weigh in on a survey and take part in discussions on why the government should provide free access to menstrual products, which is a goal that the political party Pheu Thai is trying to endorse.

The exhibition is being held at ThinkLab Creative Space and Cafe on Petchburi Road and will run until 31 March (10:00 to 18:00).
