Canon is turning up the excitement in Thailand’s creator scene with the launch of two new full-frame cameras that push forward both photo and video performance. Revealed in Bangkok on November 14, the EOS R6 Mark III and the Cinema EOS C50 headline the lineup, landing alongside two new lenses – the RF45mm f/1.2 STM and the Cinema Lens CN5 x 11 IAS T. Together, they mark a major boost to Canon’s ecosystem for photographers, filmmakers and hybrid creators looking to level up their work.

The Cinema EOS C50 leads the lineup as Canon’s smallest full-frame cinema camera, built for creators who need big performance in a compact body. It can shoot high-resolution RAW video up to 7K and delivers smooth slow-motion options for more dynamic storytelling. Its new Open Gate mode captures the entire sensor, making it easy to produce both vertical and horizontal content from the same shoot. With a lightweight, modular design and pro-ready ports for audio, monitoring and livestreaming, the C50 is made for everything from tight documentary setups to fast-moving creator workflows.

The EOS R6 Mark III continues the ‘6’ series with a new 32.5-megapixel sensor, improved low-light shooting and faster, smarter autofocus. Built for photographers and hybrid creators covering events, travel and fast-moving stories, it offers high-resolution 7K recording, slow-motion options and an Open Gate mode that gives more room to reframe for different formats. Continuous bursts up to 40 fps help capture split-second moments, while Canon Log 2 and Log 3 give editors greater control when grading footage.

New lenses for photo and cinema creators

Canon is also expanding its lens lineup with two new options. The RF45mm f/1.2 STM brings a bright, large-aperture look to portrait shooters at a more accessible point within the RF series. For filmmakers, the Cinema Lens CN5 x 11 IAS T offers a versatile 11-55mm range with support for 8K HDR, giving broadcast and production teams a flexible wide-angle tool for high-end projects.

Available in Thailand end of November

Both cameras and lenses land in Thailand at the end of November. Canon is also rolling out promotional benefits from November 20 to January 15 2026, making it a timely moment for anyone looking to upgrade their gear or dive deeper into hybrid shooting.
