Earlier today (January 21), it was reported that TV host Matoom has become the latest celeb-level COVID-19-positive case in the country. The star has also revealed his timeline during the past two weeks, and Central Embassy appeared as one of the locations where he visited.

As a result, the luxurious shopping center in Phloen Chit has released a statement, announcing the temporary closure of the three shops he visited—The Embassy Lounge, MCM and Audemars Piguet—for three days for a "deep cleaning" process to sterilize the areas and to ensure visitors' health safety. Shop staffers are also asked to practice self-isolation for two weeks. These practices are effective from today.

According to the press release, the store stated that Matoom paid a visit to the shopping center on Jan 19, where he went into The Embassy Lounge at 13:00-15:40, MCM at 15:50-17:10, and Audemars Piguet at 17:30-17:35.

The aforementioned shops will reopen on Jan 23. For further announcements, visit the Facebook page of Central Embassy here or stay tuned with us.
