Congrats to Parbun "Earth" Bunragsatrakul from Before Dawn in Chiang Mai for winning Diageo World Class Thailand 2023, beating over 200 contestants! He will be representing Thailand at the Diageo World Class Global competition in Sao Paolo, Brazil later this year!
The result came after he won against the other three finalists at the Diageo World Class final round held at the Mandarin Oriental last night (May 3).
Diageo World Class is a bartender grooming platform initiated by Diageo and is operated in its key markets around the world. Diageo will host local competitions to search for a national representative to take part in the global competition, which will be taking place in Sao Paolo in September this year.
Diageo World Class Thailand 2023 marks the event's first on-ground return since the pandemic. More than 200 contestants from around the kingdom joined the tippling game.
This year’s runner-ups are Kantarith from Bar Scofflaws, Ben Jonson Hodges from Capella’s Stella, and Danaipong from Centara Reserve Samui’s Salt Society, who also impressed the judges with their skills.
