While we're still fighting for democracy, the City of London has already looked into the future, unveiling the rendered pictures that depict how London’s skyline is going to look like in 2026. This new picture from the City of London Corporation shows the so-called ‘Eastern Cluster’ of new London skyscrapers (if all goes to plan for various mega property developers) sees twelve new buildings between 21 and 62 storeys, including 100 Leaderhall Street and the massive and hilariously named 1 Undershaft. The rendering, however, doesn’t include The Tulip, the 1,000-foot cotton bud which was submitted for planning approval in November, and which would end up as The City’s tallest building. Five of the new towers in this Eastern Cluster (plus the nearby 2-3 Finsbury Avenue) will have free public viewing galleries, offering you loads more places to ogle the developing skyline and take some #drinkswithviews Insta shots. Cheers to that!.
