Living in a busy city like Bangkok can be exciting, but it also comes with its fair share of stress. Whether it’s the traffic or the concrete sprawl, some days you just want to take a breather. But it’s not just you who feels this way – your furry friend might need a break from the chaos as well. That’s why Arak Animal Hospital Thonglor is hosting Classical Music for Dogs, so both you and your pup can relax and enjoy some calming classical tunes together.
On June 7, Thailand’s first independent professional orchestra, Pro Musica Bangkok takes over Arak Animal Hospital Thonglor for an afternoon of pure classical bliss. The event will feature a special performance by violinist Anna Takeda and violist Tasana Nagavajara.
The duo behind the music are no stranger to the classical scene. Anna Takeda, a Japanese violinist, has performed as a soloist with orchestras like the National Cuban Symphony Orchestra and played with chamber groups including the Lincoln Centre Stage Quartet and Apple Hill Quartet. Tasana Nagavajara, a Thai violist, has played with the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, where he was concertmaster for ten seasons. Now, they come together to soothe a decidedly canine audience.
Starting at 2pm, tickets are priced at B800 per person (including one pet). You can book your spot here.
