Complete lockdown is extended until August 31; banks at shopping centers are reopening

Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) confirmed yesterday (August 17) that the city lockdown would continue until at least August 31, with the closure order for certain types of venues extended as well.

Accompanying with yesterday's update, City Hall also announced that banks and financial facilities located at department stores, shopping malls, and community malls can now reopen until as late as 20:00.
