If you’ve always wanted to critique and eat at the world’s best restaurants, then here’s your chance. Michelin is hiring an inspector for its red-cover guide.

According to the ad posted on Michelin’s Facebook page, the position requires a college degree related to food or hospitality management and at least five years of experience in the food or hotel business. You should have a “natural sensory talent for tasting, analyzing food”, perfect writing and management skills, and the ability to travel around to eat. You’ll be assigned to eat lunches and dinners at targeted markets (even those beyond Thailand) for as long as three weeks a month. Ultimately, the job requires “100% anonymity”. (Now you know that the character from Emily in Paris is absurdly unreal.)

The job is full-time but the salary is unknown. But, hey, you’ll get to eat the finest food in the world. That’s enough compensation for some of us. Click here to apply.
