Popular furniture brand IKEA has announced that it will open another store in Bangkok at the now-under-construction Emsphere shopping mall in Phrom Phong.

“Prepare to meet the fourth IKEA store in Thailand on Sukhumvit Road at Emsphere,” a post on the official Facebook page of IKEA Thailand announced.

This latest outpost is a follow-up to the brand’s stores in Bang Na and Bang Yai in Bangkok, and Phuket. The Emsphere branch will be one of the very few city-center IKEA stores around the world, which includes IKEA Shinjuku, IKEA Shibuya and IKEA Harajuku in Tokyo, and a soon-to-open branch in Oxford Street, London.

Emsphere will be part of the Em District project, which comprises Emporium and EmQuartier. It is set to open in December 2025 and, according to rumors, will have a concert hall, a chain hotel and more.
