All the beautiful lights will never fade away, as this July, the city of Khonkaen is going to be illuminated with eye-popping lighting installations by the Awakening festival.
Time Out Bangkok’s signature lighting installation exhibition is slated to take place right at the heart of Khonkhan aka the bustling capital city of Thailand’s massive northeastern region. Set for July 1-10 along the Sri Chant road, the upcoming edition of Awakening will be hosted under the theme of Esan Spectrum that sees a horde of talented artists joining us to showcase a total of 21 inspiring installations placed at 15 locations.
Apart from the glistening artworks, Awakening Khaokaen will also have more fun activities throughout the ten-day run, including live performances by local artists, a food market, and many more features from partners and sponsors.
