In celebration of Luxembourg National Day, the Embassy of Luxembourg in Bangkok and Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra have invited famed classical and experimental pianist Francesco Tristano to perform live at several venues this weekend.

On June 10, the musician will open the Piano 2.0 show at AUA Language Center in Ratchadamri where he will combine two different genres—classical and electronica—in one set. Tickets and more information are available here.

The 40-year-old talent will then perform a live electronic set at a cruise party hosted by Bangkok Island on June 12. He will be joined by jazz artists Maitoy and Nicolas Brunet. The event is free of charge.

On June 13, Tristano will wrap up his tour in Bangkok with a classical piano recital at Thailand Cultural Centre. Tickets start from B600 and are available here.

The pianist, an alumnus of New York’s Juilliard School, specializes in baroque and contemporary music. He is known for integrating the sounds of the classical piano and synthesizers to encapsulate a broader spectrum of music.

The composer is currently on the road to promote his latest album On Early Music.
