Rosewood Bangkok is—slowly—on its way to making a grand return. While the hotel itself has yet to reopen, the ultra-luxe establishment unlocked the doors to its music bar Lennon’s in March and, recently, its Chinese restaurant Nan Bei started welcoming back guests for the first time in eight months.

To celebrate its reopening, Nan Bei has launched an array of new dishes that showcase the cuisine from the southern Chinese province of Hunan. Nan Bei reveals that head chef Matthew Geng went back to his home country during the lockdown and traveled across its southern region to find inspiration.

The result is a set of six dishes injected with the hot and spicy flavors typical of Hunan fare, including stir-fried Wagyu beef tenderloin with Hunan oyster sauce, Kurobuta pork ribs with crispy pickles and peppers, and deep-fried chicken fillet with pickled pepper sauce. Enjoy these new offerings along with Nan Bei’s signature Peking duck, barbecue roast pork, and dim sum bites.

Nan Bei is located on the 19th floor of Rosewood Bangkok, and is open for both lunch (11:30 to 14:30) and dinner (18:00 to 22:30) from Wednesday to Sunday. For more information and reservations, call 0 2080 0080 or email bangkok.nanbei@rosewoodhotels.com.
