One of the kingdom’s main dialects is getting its Netflix debut! The streaming platform has just premiered The Murderer, a film that features a cast speaking in Isan. The movie follows local officer Nawat as he investigates a brutal massacre in one of the northeast region’s far-flung villages.
Murderer is directed by talented filmmaker Wisit Sasanatieng (Tears of the Black Tiger and Citizen Dog) and stars comedian Phetthai “Mum Jokmok” Vongkamlao. It will stream globally on July 27.
