There must be a moment when you quite crave something hot and spicy from the South, but the problem is you're just too lazy to leave the city and go down south to have one. It's great that Rosewood Bangkok is here now to help you satisfy that craving.

Between March 22-28, two outposts of the ultimate luxury brand—Rosewood Bangkok and Rosewood Phuket—are joining hands in serving out southern Thai cuisine at Lakorn European Brasserie. The Phuket branch has nominated a chef couple, Uncle Nun and Aunt Yai, from its signature Thai dining room Ta Khai to take charge of concocting dishes with southern Thai sensibilities for guests.

From Monday to Friday, Lakorn will be serving a family-style Ta Khai sharing set lunch priced at B899 per person (between 11:30-14:00). The set includes a choice from two starters and three main dishes as well as one dessert. The cooking couple proudly present some of the highlights like Crispy Rice with Blue Crab, Prawns, Coconut Milk and Peanut Paste and Spicy & Sour Grouper with Coconut Shoots.

But if you want something more fulfilling, the restaurant also offers a Ta Khai semi-buffet dinner during evening hours. Lakorn dedicates one big station for appetizers such as Winged Bean Salad, Spicy Pomelo Salad, Betel Leaf Wrap, and Fresh Spring Rolls. For mains, you have one mouth-watering dish from a large selection of Ta Khai's favorites, namely Stir-Fried Malindjo Leaves with Eggs, Crab Curry with Basil Leaves, Beef Massamun Curry, and Deep-Fried Grouper with Sweet Chilli Sauce. What's more: you can step out to the balcony where a grilled seafood station awaits. Don't forget to wrap up the dinner with bottomless desserts like Homemade Coconut Ice Cream, Sweetened Sago in Coconut Milk, Water Chestnuts in Coconut Milk, and Thai-Style Pudding. The semi-buffet dinner is B1,499 per person, available from 18:00 to 21:00 every day until March 28.
