Jeremy Tourret (35)
Chef at Birds Rotisserie
I have been a chef for almost 20 years, and I started getting tattoos about three to four years ago. I had been wanting to get a tattoo for the longest time but it was difficult for me to find exactly what I wanted, and I wanted something that reflected my personality, and a little of my life story. I have been travelling because of my job as a chef. I was born in Paris, then moved to New York, New Zealand, Dubai, before coming to Thailand. My full-sleeve tattoo is by an artist based in Phuket. He is the only Thai artist recognized by Tin-Tin, a famous French tattoo artist. It took four months to finish this piece. I gave him the details of my life, where I’ve been and what I wanted, and he started creating it for me. I have the Eiffel Tower tattooed on my arm because it reminds me of where I’m from, my city. It represents my life and who I am. I also got a koi fish to remind me to be calm and to respect everything.
