British magazine Drink International recently published “Bar World 100: The Most Influential Figures” for this year, and Niks Anuman-Rajadhon, co-founder of Yolo Group, is included in the prestigious list at 46. He is the only one from Thailand to make the cut.
Undoubtedly one of the most prominent personalities in Thailand’s drinking scene, Niks is one of the figures behind Yolo Group (alongside Gun Leelhasuwan), the umbrella company of four establishments on Chinatown’s Soi Nana, namely Teens of Thailand, Asia Today, TAX, and Independence Bar. He also makes an appearance on the Bangkok episode of Netflix’s Midnight Asia, while having a fair share in Nong Khai’s Issan Rum.
The Bar World 100 list is put together each year by Drink International, a long-established British publication that’s dedicated to covering the who’s and what’s of the global drinking scene. Every year, it gives recognition to experts, drinks media, consultants, bar operators, brand representatives and event organizers from over 60 countries around the world. 2022’s version includes 22 personalities from Asia, with Niks being the only one from Thailand.
