Southern Californian brand Taco Bell has partnered up with Siam Taco Co. Ltd., bringing the world's famous fast-food restaurant to Bangkok.
Located on the ground of Mercury Ville, the eatery features colorful mural depicting tuk-tuk cabbie and Bangkok landmarks set within a laidback dining space. There's also a digital jukebox where you can choose your own favorite songs to be played in the restaurant.
The menu shines spotlight on Taco Bell's original taco and burrito selections, including the signature Crunchwrap Supreme (seasoned ground chicken, nacho cheese, spicy sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, reduced-fat sour cream in a crunchy tostada shell), Grilled Stuft Burrito (pork carnitas, two-cheese blend, seasoned rice, nacho cheese, jalapeño sauce and pico de gallo), and Crunchy Taco (a choice of meat, lettuce and shredded cheese in a crunchy corn shell). There are also local-inspired items like Kickin’ Chicken Taco (crispy chicken, spicy Kickin' sauce, lettuce, pico de gallo, and two-cheese blend, wrapped in a soft flour tortilla), as well as two special flavors of slushies. Local beers are served in the restaurant, too.
For the opening day (24 Jan) at 10am, the first 100 customers will get limited edition Taco Bell merchandise and have a chance to win free tacos for a whole year. So long queue is expected.
