THAI Airways reroutes all Europe flights due to Pakistani airspace closure

Earlier last night (Feb 27), THAI Airways announced it had to cancel flights to 13 European cities (London, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Milan, Vienna, Stockholm, Zurich, Copenhagen, Oslo and Frankfurt) on Feb 27-28 due to Pakistani Airspace Closure—a result a dispute between India and Pakistan.

Today (Feb 28), THAI has released a new statement it has rerouted and will resume all Europe flights later today. These include:

Day-time flights on Feb 28

  • TG974 Bangkok-Moscow (delayed)
  • TG916 Bangkok-London
  • TG922 Bangkok-Frankfurt
  • TG962 Bangkok-Stockholm
  • TG920 Bangkok-Frankfurt (night-time, early check-in required)

Night-time flights on Mar 1 (early check-in required)

  • TG910 Bangkok-London
  • TG924 Bangkok-Munich
  • TG930 Bangkok-Paris
  • TG934 Bangkok-Brussels
  • TG944 Bangkok-Milan
  • TG936 Bangkok-Vienna
  • TG960 Bangkok-Stockholm
  • TG970 Bangkok-Zurich
  • TG950 Bangkok-Copenhagen
  • TG954 Bangkok-Oslo

Flights from Bangkok to Muscat (TG507 and TG508) will not make a stopover in Karachi, and flights between Bangkok and Lahore (TG345 and TG346) remain canceled as of today (Feb 28).
