The winter is genuinely here—until this weekend, unfortunately

Enjoy while it lasts.

Okay, guys, there's no such thing as *quote/unquote* winter in Thailand. Imagine you're wearing multiple layers of clothes to flaunt your winter fashion like you're walking around in London—it's impossible, isn't it?

But hold on, these past two days (January 12-13), everyone in Thailand has woken up to unbelievably "cold" weather. We're talking about somewhere between 14-17°C and 24-27°C. The temperature around the country has recently dropped considerably to the level that we have to run back and go through our closet to look for a jacket. How amazing that is!

The explanation for the temperature drop across Thailand, according to Thai Meteorological Department, is the high pressure from China that is currently covering the northern part of Thailand, causing strong wind and the Celsius diving by approximately 4-6 degrees. It is forecasted that Bangkok will remain in this jacket-friendly weather until this weekend.

So now you still have a few days left to wake up early and appreciate such a nice morning walk. If you're lucky enough, you may witness some chilly fog during the dawn.
