The 165-year-old Swiss watch brand, Tissot, has recently launched a new limited-edition watch collection inspired by a historic model from 1917. Named Heritage Banana Centenary Edition, the watch was nicknamed “Banana” due to its rectangular curved body that wraps around your wrist perfectly. The The Tissot Heritage Banana Centenary Edition recalls a memory of the brand, when it couldn’t delivered the gold watch sent to Switzerland for maintenance back to its owner in Russia due to the gold watch importation restrictions and outbreak of the revolution in October 1917.
To commemorate such historical incident, Tissot presents the special edition of wristwatch Heritage Banana Centenary Edition with the iconic vintage-style logo and numbers. The watch features a quartz movement, water-proof mineral glass, 316L stainless steel, alligator-style leather strap, and PVD coated rose-gold executions.
