Global streaming service Disney+ Hotstar has finally gone live in Thailand, receiving great reception from subscribers who can now enjoy a huge back catalog of Disney Originals, Marvel Studio films and many more!
To celebrate the launch, the streaming platform released a series of live performances by Thai celebrities and artists, who gave their renditions of classic Disney tracks from the rooftop of King Power Mahanakhon and within the beautiful rooms of Phraya Thai Palace.
A-list singers Eve Pancharoen aka Palmy and Palitchoke “Peck” Ayanaputra bannered the first performance with a medley of popular Disney tunes "Once Upon a Dream", "Circle of Life", "Let It Go" and "A Whole New World". It was a full circle moment for both as Palmy and Peck used to host variety TV show Disney Club back in the day.
Another showstopping medley of "Part of Your World", "Beauty and the Beast", "Reflection" and "Into the Unknown" was beautifully done by Gen Z stars Violette Wautier, Putthipong “Billkin” Assaratanakul and Achiraya “Ally” Nitibhon.
