It’s been quite some time since we indulged in one of our favorite pastimes: café-hopping. Restrictions have been eased on restaurant dining in Bangkok, and we’re celebrating by rounding up a list of (relatively) new cafés that you may have heard of but never actually got to visit.

It’s another day, another new café in Ari. The latest addition to the neighborhood’s chic hang-out options is located at Choonhavan House hotel. Get comfy with a special Eden blend (price starts from B70), which mixes Ethiopian and Colombian beans, or the Zion blend, which mixes Colombian and Thai beans.

Bang Sue is expected to be the city’s next big thing, thanks to the opening of the Grand Station, and Lab Coffee is surely one of those establishments that will benefit. You’ll easily recognize it by its sleek, minimalist stainless steel facade, which continues on inside with steel counters. Sip on good espressos and lattes on the first floor and climb up to the second to shop for cool fashion pieces.
