A cafe inspired by Black Forest, the setting of Grimm Brothers' fairy tales

The trendy café Black Forest takes its name and inspiration from the mountainous region in Germany known for its dark, tree-covered hills. Dim lighting, black metal, raw cement walls and a smattering of artificial plants evoke the mysterious atmosphere of the region’s dense evergreen forests.

The drink, however, takes on a friendlier approach, including freshly brewed coffee made from beans from Brave Roasters and imported variants from Ethiopia and Kenya, and the Wild Berries Chocolate Whipcream frappe (B130) for caffeine intolerants. Post-work hours sees the office set coming here to enjoy a selection of craft beers, comfort food and coffee-infused alcoholic drinks such as White Crow (B120) and Wild Sheep Chase.
