Fav.bangkok brings a Neo-Korean bistrobar concept to the city, created by Kai Kang and Jiyoon Oh, a couple who spent nearly a decade running food and drink businesses in Korea before opening the Bangkok branch. The concept follows a growing global movement that reinterprets Korean flavours in a fun and contemporary way.
Inside the small restaurant, the kitchen blends Korean ingredients with Thai produce to create casual, wine-friendly plates. Chef Few leads the cooking, drawing on flavours like kimchi and gochujang while adapting them to Bangkok’s palette.
The menu includes playful takes on familiar favourites such as kimchi fried rice, Korean fried chicken and bossam, alongside rotating monthly dishes inspired by Korean sashimi and other seasonal inspiration. Behind a blue door, the space channels the creative spirit of Seoul neighbourhoods like Seongsu-dong, designed as an easy stop for wine and small plates.
