Chef Andy Yang steps away from tasting menus and leaps into the wok with Suki Phad Rama 5, a street-level spot in Nonthaburi dishing out stir-fried suki at 69 baht. It’s a dramatic shift from fine dining to fast heat, with the same attention to flavour carried into a much simpler format.
Consider this wok hei heaven, with each bowl exuding a strong, smokey finish. Diners can choose between a non-spicy classic sauce or a spicier option, both designed to push the same base of noodles, vegetables and protein in different directions. Ingredients are sourced locally where possible, with vegetables coming in fresh daily.
There is also a playful edge to the menu, including a blind tasting challenge that asks diners to compare versions with and without MSG, turning a familiar debate into part of the experience.
