Following the success of the fourth edition of Awakening Bangkok at the Old Town neighborhoods of Charoenkrung, Talad Noi, and Chinatown’s Soi Nana, we are keen to host a new segment of our signature lighting festival, this time at Bangkok’s popular backpacker and nightlife destination.
Awakening Khaosan hopes to reinject good vibes and vibrant energy to the neighborhood, which suffered from a lack of patrons during the height of the pandemic, with eight new lighting installations. Created by local artists, who worked with the theme “Borderless”, these artworks represent the seamless blending of cultures and identities in a place that knows no boundaries.
