The megamall welcomes 2017 with a holy procession to worship the images of Hindu gods enshrined around Ratchaprasong Intersection. The religious parade starts from Lumphini Park at 08:30.
The countdown event will take place in front of the mall, starting from 22:00 onwards. Instead of an extravagant party, CentralWorld invites people to join the mass singing of festive songs, led by famous artists such as Boyd Kosiyabong, Saowanit “Kob” Nawapan, and Professor Sukree Charoensuk and Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra. There’s also an alm offering ceremony at CentralWorld Square on the New Year Day from 7:00 onwards.
