In 2018, Korakrit Arunanonchai and Bangkok CityCity Gallery gave birth to Ghost, a video and performance art festival that focuses on spirits and supernatural beings from around the world. The first edition was called Ghost:2561 and it wrapped up with a bang. (2561 is the equivalent of 2018 in the Thai Buddhist calendar.)

Four years later, the festival is back. Ghost: 2565, which is inspired by the theme “Live Without Dead Time”, is curated by Hong Kong- and Amsterdam-based Christina Lee, and features a number of thought-provoking multimedia, new media, and performance shows by artists such as Duanwad Pimwana, Uthis Hemamul, Chantana Thiprachat, and Tulapop Saencharoen. The festival is split into a series of events that are taking place at the city’s top art venues including Jim Thompson Arts Center, Nova, and Bangkok CityCity Gallery.
